Two interviews, a job offer, and now searching for daycare....

So sorry it has been so long...I knew I may need a kick every now and then with this blogging thing! Tommy has been bugging me quite a bit lately to update, so I am going to try to make it really quick! Briggs and I have to go to his 2 month doctor appointment today...he will be getting his shots. :( I still haven't got the whole get-a-baby-and-me-ready-in-a-short-amount-of-time thing down yet! Anyway, it has almost been a month since my last post, so ALOT has changed including Briggs!!! After we got back from Schlitterbahn I casually applied for a couple of jobs and then shortly thereafter I interviewed for two. It was a bit of a surprise to me how fast everything happened. I was offered a job with Study Island. It is a fairly new company that sells web-based test prep and standards mastery products to schools. They are growing tremendously, so it is a good time for me to get in with them. I think this is a good opportunity for me although I will be making some rather BIG sacrifices. I will have quite a commute to downtown Dallas, and I will be taking Briggs to daycare-both of which I am not excited about at all! At the same time, I know that this is all God's plan right now because we and others have been praying too much for it not to be! I am just trying to remind myself of that as I get geared up to begin a new journey. Like I said earlier Briggs has grown like a weed over the last month, so for your entertainment and pleasure I have posted the most recent pictures I have downloaded and even a couple of videos!

This is one of Tommy's favorites! Briggs was taking a nap and Tommy hollered at me to hurry with the camera. He was kicked back, relaxing, and enjoying some zzzzzzzzzs!

Funny enough, it was Pop-O's idea to make me a "gansta," but a pretty cute gansta all the same!

Had to get the full body shot to include the shoes...this has become one of my favorite outfits. I LOVE him in a hat!

These are all from Briggs' two month photo shoot @ Sears...yes, I know, they look like Sears photos, but had to do it for baby book purposes! Maybe next time we go we won't get a tired and pregnant picture clicker...I'm assuming she was ready to go home since we were the last appointment of the day!
